The Cat Club Holiday Boutique was a huge success. We had hundreds of shoppers feasting on delicious food and exciting raffle prizes, not to mention the wonderful selection of gift items offered by our many talented vendors.
We are able to continue our Foster and Adoption Program because of the wonderful generosity of all those attending. Thanks so much!!

Our last meeting was Wednesday, November 8th, in Clubhouse 5, at 12:30pm. Gail Landau, from the Catmosphere Foundation, was our speaker. The presentation was "Rescuing Big and Little Cats." Gail just returned from an African safari with wonderful shots of all she witnessed while on safari, which she shared. She also let us know about the work Catmosphere Laguna has been doing for cats in South County.
The meeting finished with a raffle of wonderful prizes that weren't included in the Boutique's raffle.
Our Wednesday, October 11th meeting featured a memorial tribute to Pat Wilkinson, our beloved Vice President, publicist, and webmaster, who passed away on September 13th.
See the video of this wonderful tribute. Also see Pat's own video, Meeting Missy, in which she shares her story of adopting her longtime cat companion Missy.
We also reviewed details for our Holiday Boutique in Clubhouse 7 approaching quickly on Saturday, October 28th.
Many thanks to those who donated raffle items! We are in abundance and not accepting anything more, except gift cards. It will be fabulous!

"At the June 12th Laguna Woods Village Cat Club meeting, Vicki Robbins was recognized for her hard work and dedication for the recycling project she started back in October 2012. To date, Vicki has raised more than $10,300 for the foster and adoption program. It started off very slowly, but has since grown considerably due to all the many wonderful people in the Village who gladly donate their bottles and cans to her to be recycled. Other clubs that Vicki belongs to have helped in the project over the years as well as her neighbors and friends. This has made a huge difference in our ability to keep the adoption program funded. Thank you, Vicki, and we hope you continue this great fund-raising project for many years."
